Notes

'Joyner Red' fishbone cactus (Selenicereus 'Joyner Red') is a succulent for fruit growing and containers. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun. It is a dragon fruit hybrid grown for moderately sweet, refreshing white fruit with crunchy black seeds. Its white, fragrant flowers open at night in summer. The plant is self-fertile, but hand pollination is recommended.

Pairs well with Dragon tree, Mexican heather, and Umbrella plant.
