American Beauty fishbone cactus

Notes

'American Beauty' fishbone cactus (Selenicereus 'American Beauty') is a succulent for fruit, containers, and fragrant night-blooming displays. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun. White, fragrant flowers open at night in early to late summer. They are followed by oblong dragon fruit with reddish skin and sweet magenta flesh. Plants are self-fertile, but hand pollination is recommended.

Pairs well with Staghorn fern, Papyrus, and Paintbrush.
