Notes

Red fleshed dragon fruit (Selenicereus costaricensis) is a succulent vine grown for its sweet fresh fruit and large fragrant flowers. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun. The white flowers open at night in summer and usually last just one night. Plants are not self-fertile, so you need pollination to set the magenta fruit.

Pairs well with Paintbrush, Vetiver, and Shiso.
