Notes
Yellow dragon fruit (Selenicereus megalanthus) is a succulent vine for fruit, containers, and fragrant night gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun. Its white flowers open at night and usually last just one night. The oblong fruit has bumpy yellow skin and sweet white flesh with crunchy black seeds.
Pairs well with Clematis, Calendula, and Northwind switchgrass.
