Notes

Juniper-leaved thrift (Armeria humilis) is a perennial for containers and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer tend to pass it by. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. This evergreen plant also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Gold dust, Munstead lavender, and Elijah Blue blue fescue.
