Garden uses

Notes

'Kaiteri' pineapple guava (Feijoa sellowiana 'Kaiteri') is a fruit for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It is an evergreen shrub with gray green leaves and white flowers with red accents in summer. The large, sweet fruit ripens early and has thin skin. It sets some fruit alone but gives more with a second variety nearby.

Pairs well with Brown Turkey fig, Silver vine, and Artichoke.
