Garden uses

Notes

'Unique' pineapple guava (Feijoa sellowiana 'Unique') is a fruit for a food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The evergreen leaves are gray green with white undersides. White flowers with red accents open from early to late summer. The fruit is small but extra sweet, and the plant is self-fertile, though a second variety gives more fruit.

Pairs well with Chicago Hardy fig, Passionflower, and Artichoke.
