Ramsey pineapple guava

Garden uses

Notes

'Ramsey' pineapple guava (Feijoa sellowiana 'Ramsey') is a fruit for food gardens, hedges, and espalier training. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its fruits are large and sweet, with a mint and pineapple taste. White flowers with red accents open from early to late summer. It is partly self-fertile, but a second variety gives you more fruit.

Pairs well with Chicago Hardy fig, Borage, and Artichoke.
