Notes

'Karen Poulsen' rose (Rosa 'Karen Poulsen') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Svend Poulsen bred it in 1932. The fragrant, medium red flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Baby's breath, Blue wild indigo, and Fountain grass.
