Notes
'Katz Lavender Blue' stock (Matthiola incana 'Katz Lavender Blue') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. Cool weather suits it, and it can take a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It bears fragrant purple blooms on a single stem, and bees and butterflies visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer. It also tolerates salt.
Pairs well with Aster, Cornflower, Japanese forest grass, and Maltese cross.
