Notes
'Katz Ruby' stock (Matthiola incana 'Katz Ruby') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It grows well in cool weather and can ride out a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its red flowers are fragrant and bloom in spring and summer. It sits low on the menu for deer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Bells of Ireland, Ornamental onion, and Japanese forest grass.
