Notes
'E.G. Kendall' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'E.G. Kendall') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). Give it full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The orchid pink flowers are fully double bomb types that bloom in mid to late spring. Both petals and petalodes shade to deeper pink at the base. The stems and foliage are excellent.
Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Royal fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
