Notes

'King George V' tulip (Tulipa 'King George V') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are bright cochineal red and open from early to late spring. Cut a few stems for a vase and leave the rest to color the border.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Cat's Pajamas nepeta, and Blush peony.
