Notes

'Cat's Pajamas' nepeta (Nepeta faassenii 'Cat's Pajamas') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, ground cover, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. It forms a low mound covered in indigo blue flowers with rosy purple sepals, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. Shear it heavily and it will reflush with new foliage and flowers. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Nodding onion.
