King's Cloak tulip

Notes

'King's Cloak' tulip (Tulipa 'King's Cloak') is a bulb that stands about 14 inches tall. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). The outside of each flower is cardinal red with canary yellow edges. The inner petals have broader edges. Inside, blood red feathering fades into a large canary yellow top. Its short stems suit the front of a bed.

Pairs well with Snowdrop, Siebold's hosta, and Sedge.
