Notes

'Kitchener of Khartoum' rose (Rosa 'Kitchener of Khartoum') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant, medium red blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Alexander Dickson II bred it.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Amsonia.
