Notes

Korean spice viburnum (Viburnum carlesii) is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its white spring flowers are fragrant, and birds visit the plant. It grows slowly into a rounded shape, so give it room. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Mock orange, Queen of Night tulip, and Blue fescue.
