Notes

'Smvcb' Korean spice viburnum (Viburnum carlesii 'Smvcb') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows slowly into a rounded shape that reaches 42 to 60 inches tall. Fragrant light pink to white flowers open from early to late spring and attract birds.

Pairs well with Mock orange, Earth Angel hosta, Pink Impression tulip, and Blue fescue.
