Notes

'Krakatoa' daffodil (Narcissus 'Krakatoa') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. J.L. Richardson bred it, and the yellow petals surround an orange, funnel-shaped cup with a flared rim. The flowers are fragrant and hold their color in sun. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Karl Rosenfield peony, Blue fescue, and Irish moss.
