Notes

'Kramer' camellia (Camellia japonica 'Kramer') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The evergreen leaves stay on the plant all year, and the fragrant flowers draw bees and birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it time, since it grows slowly.

Pairs well with Cherry laurel, Carolina jessamine, and Bracken.
