Notes

'Nuccio' camellia (Camellia japonica 'Nuccio') is a shrub for borders, woodland gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet soil. It grows slowly into a columnar, evergreen shrub, and bees and birds visit the blooms. Plant it in a protected spot. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Cherry laurel, and Bracken.
