'Kung-Fu' tulip (Tulipa 'Kung-Fu') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The dark purple-red blooms open from early to late spring on stems about 18 inches tall. CPRO-DLO bred it.
Pairs well with Armenian grape hyacinth, Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, and Bridal Crown daffodil.
