Notes

'La Scala' rose (Rosa 'La Scala') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright plant has fragrant red blend blooms in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Lindquist bred it in 1965.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Ornamental onion, and Spurge.
