Notes

'Lace Lady' false acacia (Robinia pseudoacacia 'Lace Lady') is a tree for pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and stays erect, reaching 8 to 10 feet tall and 12 to 15 feet wide. The fragrant white flowers appear rarely but draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Staghorn sumac, Indian grass, and Scarlet oak.
