Notes
'Lady Darlene' dahlia (Dahlia 'Lady Darlene') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Yellow flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Deer tend to pass it by. Grimm bred it.
Pairs well with Montbretia, Anise-scented sage, and Lemongrass.
