Notes

'Lady Kate' dahlia (Dahlia 'Lady Kate') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows about 31 inches tall and bears light blue-violet blooms from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Ben van der Ploeg bred it.

Pairs well with Blue Angel hosta, Lemon Queen sunflower, Casa Blanca lily, and Jackmanii clematis.
