Notes

'Lakota Fire' coneflower (Echinacea 'Lakota Fire') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant flowers. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Globe thistle, and Purple Lace spotted beebalm.
