Notes

'Largo' tulip (Tulipa 'Largo') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It has dark purple-red blooms in early to late spring on stems about 20 inches tall. The leaves have wavy edges, and the bright yellow base inside each flower adds contrast.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Black Beauty peony, and Nodding onion.
