Notes

Larkspurleaf tickseed (Anacis delphiniifolia) is a perennial for naturalized plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and bears yellow blooms up to 3 inches across in midsummer, and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Drought tolerance makes it a good pick for sandy or rocky spots.

Pairs well with Mountain mint, Feather reed grass, and Buffalo grass.
