Notes

'Laura Kelsey' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Laura Kelsey') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, blush double blooms open in early summer and age to cream. The pointed buds look like huge rosebuds, and strong stems hold the flowers upright in wind and rain. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Charles Joly lilac, Sedge, and Black Parrot tulip.
