Notes

'Lavender Dream' rose (Rosa 'Lavender Dream') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and loamy or clay soil. The mauve blooms are fragrant and attract bees. It repeats its bloom from early summer into autumn and can set small red hips late in the season. Peter Ilsink bred it, and Interplant introduced it in 1984.

Pairs well with Rose of sharon, Golden Tiara hosta, and Cornflower.
