Notes

'Leanne Mariel' peony (Paeonia 'Leanne Mariel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant light pink blooms age to cream and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Robert William Tischler bred it, and it forms a dense bush.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
