Notes

'Leona Weinberger' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Leona Weinberger') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The pink bomb-type blooms open easily in mid to late spring and age to light pink or white. Each plant carries many 5 to 6 inch flowers on fairly strong stems, and they suit arrangements well. Robert William Tischler bred it.

Pairs well with Columbine, Cinnamon fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
