Notes

'Lhasa' peony (Paeonia 'Lhasa') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, luminous red flowers are single and flat, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Nodding onion, Switchgrass, and Dense blazing star.
