Notes

'Lido' tulip (Tulipa 'Lido') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The dark purple-red blooms open from early to late spring on stems about 18 inches tall. Hybris B.V. bred it, and you can cut the stems for bouquets.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Raspberry Sundae peony, and Indian grass.
