Notes

Lily (Lilium pumilum) is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Coral red, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. It stays 12 to 24 inches tall, so it fits small spaces.

Pairs well with Dr. Alexander Fleming peony, Ageratum, and Arrowwood viburnum.
