Notes
Linden (Tilia amurensis) is a tree for specimen use and shade garden settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 50 to 75 feet tall, with a spread of 30 to 50 feet, so give it plenty of room. Pale yellow flowers open in early summer and smell sweet. The tree also tolerates drought once it is settled in.
Pairs well with Princeton Sentry maidenhair tree, Siberian iris, and Western sword fern.
Native range
Manchuria, Korea, and southeastern Siberia.
