'Lipstick' strawberry (Fragaria ananassa 'Lipstick') is a fruit for food gardens and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It blooms with bright reddish pink flowers from spring until fall. Plant a different strawberry nearby to pollinate it, and you will get small, sweet fruit like a wild strawberry.
Pairs well with Lemon balm, Victoria rhubarb, and Lime basil.
