Notes

'Victoria' rhubarb (Rheum hybridum 'Victoria') is a fruit for borders, containers, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. This heirloom grows 24 to 36 inches tall and 35 to 47 inches wide, so give it room. It blooms in early to late spring and early to late summer. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Asparagus, Virginia strawberry, Bull's Blood beet, and Purple Ruffles basil.
