Notes

'Little John' weeping bottlebrush (Melaleuca viminalis 'Little John') is a shrub for borders, containers, specimen plantings, and xeriscape gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its yellow and red flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows fast into a rounded, evergreen mound about 36 inches tall and 59 inches wide.

Pairs well with Sunburst aeonium, American century plant, Pineapple sage, and Stonecrop.
