'Lizzy' tulip (Tulipa 'Lizzy') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows about 10 inches tall and blooms in early to late spring. The long, pointed petals flare from black bases. Plant it in good drainage and it may naturalize when happy.
Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Halcyon hosta, and Black Beauty peony.
