Notes
'Loe' dahlia (Dahlia 'Loe') is a bulb for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Large, fully double pink blooms open from early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. Butterflies visit the flowers. Stems stand about 3 feet tall and need a dry spot in winter.
Pairs well with Cherry Brandy rudbeckia, Helene Von Stein lamb’s ear, and Shenandoah switchgrass.
