Notes

'Lone Star' rose (Rosa 'Lone Star') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Light yellow blooms are fragrant and attract bees. They open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn. Wilhelm Kordes III bred it in 2007.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Virginia sweetspire.
