Notes

'Lord Cavin' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lord Cavin') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, bomb-shaped flowers open in late spring to early summer. They are grayish white with irregular maroon and red streaks. Charles Klehm and Son Nursery introduced it in 1933.

Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Royal fern, and Queen of Night tulip.
