'Lorenzo' tulip (Tulipa 'Lorenzo') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The double, peony-type flowers show tangerine orange with hints of red, yellow, and green. Fertilize with bulb food as soon as the shoots emerge in spring. Let the foliage die back naturally after flowering.
Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Halcyon hosta, and Black Beauty peony.
