Notes

'Lottie Collins' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lottie Collins') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears double red blooms in early summer. The full flowers look lovely in a vase, so you can cut a few for indoors. Peter Barr bred it.

Pairs well with Royal fern, Black Parrot tulip, and Aster.
