'Love-Lies-Bleeding' amaranthus (Amaranthus 'Love-Lies-Bleeding') is an annual for cut flower use. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 36 to 60 inches tall, so give it space at the back of a bed. Flowers appear from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn.

Pairs well with Purple Emperor Nasturtium nasturtium, Red fescue, and Snow Princess Calendula.
