Notes

'Lovely Louise' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lovely Louise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large double blooms of light pink open in late spring and early summer. They are fragrant and have a rainbow shading. Wiry stems of medium height hold the flowers up in wind, sun, and rain.

Pairs well with Cinnamon fern, Pink Impression tulip, and Wild ginger.
