Notes

'Loving Cup' peony (Paeonia 'Loving Cup') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It forms a dense, bushy mound about 35 inches tall. Single red flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Indian grass, and Nodding onion.
