Notes

'Lucilla' peony (Paeonia 'Lucilla') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The ruffled, cream-white semi-double flowers are fragrant, and upright plants need no support. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Nodding onion, and Switchgrass.
